You remember the old timer we had last week on the show and was Travis Upchurch. The school district was

trying to take his house for a parking lot and his three adult children were driving back and forth from Baskrop, I think Austin and somewhere in that area, Bell, not, I can't remember what the other community was.

And they got the people in the community engaged.

That man and his mother and his father before him,

and grandfather before him, have lived in that house

and several along that row for 70-something years,

actually longer than that.

It was their land that the school first bought

to start the school to be Alden.

Well, it was a great example that it always looks bleak until the very moment that you win. And then there is that crowd, the lazy crowd, but they never say, you know, I'm too lazy to vote. What they do is they say, oh, it's cool going to win anyway. School always going to win. You're not going to beat school.

You don't win.

Look at all power, they got lawyers. You don't win. I don't want y'all to waste y'all's time.

The guy who doesn't know why you're wasting your time

That guy's the problem

because they don't actually ever need to lie cheat still

or do anything else because that guy talks him out of even fighting himself out of even fighting for anything.

But he does it on the very principled basis.

It's all right done.

You're stupid, you waste some time. And then if you do lose, he gets to be right.

He told you, he waits your time.

Wains your time.
