I'm thrilled to be here.

And I was working at State Department for nine years.

The State Department for nine years.

And you just left.

And you just have a new book out called

called Digital World War. That sounds terrifying. It's it's supposed to be. It's a big

title for a big problem. So we have a lot to talk about from digital world wars to real

world wars to the State Department Hillary Clinton Rex Tillerson and so on and

so forth. But let's let me just ask you just a very simple question, are we all

going to die soon in some sort of like cataclysmic event? Can you kind of just

let me know if I should be moving to Canada right now?

Like where should I go and what should I do?

And where are we in the world today as someone who knows the ins and out of the State

Department?

Well I wish we were in a better place and I wish I had a better answer.

I do think that we're on sort of a precipice of, you know, there's, there's, well, you know,

the things I talk about in the book, I mean, we are, are you know we're behind the curve when it

comes to sort of this information battlefield obviously you know all the big

issues in North Korea and you know the big tectonic issues in the Middle East I
