Hello from Washington, I'm Chuck Todd, and this is the Chuck Todd cast.

President Biden is making some gains in an election that he can win.

That's at least the top takeaway from a new survey

of battleground states, led by the Democratic firm

Greenberg Research.

The group says, quote, compared to Trump,

Biden has a touch more loyalists, less vulnerable voters,

and more winnable voters.

They also find that the House and Senate battlegrounds

are looking more favorable to the Democratic ticket,

but before anyone gets too excited on the left about these findings the race is still very close and a lot still will happen in the next six months

So today I'm going to talk with Stan Greenberg, the Democratic

Polster and Stratadists who's advised candidates at home and abroad. Most

famously, former President Bill Clinton and of course former Prime Minister

Tony Blair, Willis the late South African President Nelson Mandela.

In fact, he's still pretty active in international politics advising government, the government

in Greece for instance, and he's going to walk through his findings in just a second. It's very interesting

where he's at because he's not necessarily totally in sync with where the Biden campaign is.
