Highlights from another FFPC main event draft out of the 11 hole.

We're doing some really weird stuff on it. We took three running backs to start. We didn't love the 11 hole listeners who heard our other draft out of the

nine hole on September 3rd. This is a September 4th draft. We added to hope to get something

in the first half of drafts since both of us, even on drafts that we're not doing together,

continue to get a lot of 9, 10, and 11 picks. And now we're approaching the 910 turn.

We started Sequin, Jonathan Taylor, D'Andre Swift, and then we switched over to receiver.

T. Higgins, Leviska, Chenault, Juj, Noah Fant and Jalen Waddle. We've built in some upside

at receiver. We're not feeling too horrible about where we are at. At the same time, we're going to

keep making these wide receiver swings, obviously. That's sort of the whole thing with this early

running back build is it's going to be about wide receiver depth. It is. Obviously, we believe

in zero RB. We believe in modified zero RB. Almost all of our drafts are structured that way.

But I do have some content on the site for listeners who do want to be more running back heavy.

And there are some ways to play it that maybe aren't quite as good.

But your player selections also matter.

And we've talked about how those three running backs we think are way below where they should be.

If you're going to draft out of a draft slot that maybe isn't as favorable,

you want to do some of these things where you can take advantage of the players that you like

and then come back and get some of the other players you like because there are some wide receivers in this range that we are pretty fond of.

Elijah Moore, Rondell Moore, we think that those rookies could be the breakout players

of 2021. So then as we rack back around into the 9-10 turn, DJ chart comes off the board.

That's too bad in some ways, but we have a little bit of a buy issue in week seven.
