Trump is finally getting his meeting with Putin.

So, Alex, where should we get started, my friend?

Let's go to Texas, Joe.

Okay, so for background, Trump said, you got to redistrict.

So Texas Republicans said, yeah, okay, we're going to redistrict.

They're basically trying to gerrymander the map, add something like five seats, which would give it, I think, a 30 to 8 margin.

I think that math right.

A bunch of Texas Democrats have left the state to deny Republicans to quorum, which

basically means while they're out of the state, they can't vote on it.

Trump and Cornyn and a bunch of people are trying to get the FBI involved, drag people back.

Joe, and we'll get to what Democrats are doing in a fighting back, right? But

there's no way that this kind of power grab can last all that much longer, right? Is this

just for 2026? Is this longer term? Like, this is just them gaming the rules because they see

the running on the wall, right? Well, I mean, look, they know they're losing. I mean, they know

that the favorability ratings for the administration for Trump and what's going on with mass deportations, inflation, the economy, and even now this is driving their numbers lower.
