Why wouldn't Debo Samuel be a good fit back here?

I think he would be.

Debo Samuel was pretty good for this team last year.

Second, most receptions in his career. Played 16 of the 18 games. He had 72 receptions. He had a season

in 2021 where he caught 77 balls. 727 yards last year. Average 10.1 yards yards per reception five touchdowns on the year.

He was excellent last year as a returner as well before he got banged up and then they

moved McCaffrey into that role. If they don't add a Brandon Iyuk at some point and you get to the beginning of training

camp and there's no Stefan Diggs or no Juan Jennings. Of the list of the players that have not

signed elsewhere that were on the roster a year ago, guys like Noah Brown and Sheldon Day and

Chase Edmonds and Austin Eckler,

we just talked about him, he's been cleared, Zach Ertz, Eddie Goldman, Von Miller hasn't

signed anywhere else, Bobby Wagner, of course, has not signed anywhere else. Debo Samuel.

Why wouldn't you consider Debo Samuel back? The Spot Track contract value number

is 15.4 million for one year. No one's going to give them that. That is an inflated number.

They have plenty of cap space. I would love to see a Debo Samuel weapon in this kind of an offense. I mean,

the fact that Mike McDaniel might think it's a good fit for his offense, and it was a good fit

for Kyle Shanahan's offense, it'd be a good fit for the David Blow offense. I thought he was good good for our team last year, and I think that

that was under duress, the duress of not having your starting quarterback for most of the year

and not playing side by side with the likes of Terry McLorn or in the backfield somebody

like Austin Echler.
