Papa and Hummout. So I try not to do too many Houston stories on this show because we do a morning show and we tend to do more Houston stuff. I mean K FYO out of Lubbock. We had a caller this morning from our

Lubbock audience on the morning show who was saying I can't remember what the

But anyway, I tend to focus a little more on Houston Stories on the Morning Show.

And I try to only use a Houston story on this show because we literally are nationwide if it makes a point that I think affects the community you're in and this does.

Just before the Thanksgiving break, Houston Police Department arrested 23 people. This is this is a

RICO statute. I mean this is a big elaborate deal. It's an auto theft ring.

When you look at the numbers in this country of every,

whatever it is, every 10 seconds,

or I forget what the number is,

a car is stolen in America, It's a pretty staggering number. But if you actually saw

the real number, which is how often is a car stolen inside municipal city limits because nobody is stealing a car on the

Yellowstone Ranch nobody is stealing a car at Taylor Sheridan's house in

Weatherford Texas because you'd get shot.

You'd have to walk too far to get up there to his truck, and you know everybody's armed.

But the number of auto thefts inside city limits in this country, you have to realize

you have to shrink the number of the per capita, the audience size. So if you've got a thousand car thefts for every 100,000 people, that's one and 100,

that's a lot. But if you have a thousand car thefts for only the people who live inside municipal city limits and that's 10,000, now one in 10. Now it really gets you, right?

So these auto theft rings, this country basically we are one big nation of victims and if you could if you could control it at static right now, this would be bad.

The problem is this is 10 times worse than five years ago.
