Sacraments are not like man-made. They're the works of God. The catechism says they're like the master

0:04.4

works of the Holy Spirit. And the reason why we believe in the sacraments is because of the incarnation

0:09.4

of Jesus. So who is Jesus? Well, the God that we cannot see becomes visible in Jesus. The God

0:14.4

0:58.9

like reaching out to God through the sacraments? Or are they his idea? And he's reaching out to us,

1:03.5

just like through the incarnation. And now we have a physical encounter with him through

1:06.8

the sacraments. Well, I think about my time working in a parish, right?

1:10.9

And I did a lot of sacrament preparation.

1:12.7

And I heard a lot of people come in lifelong Catholics.

1:15.7

The sacraments happen at a certain age because they're almost a right of passage.
