We're coming to you one day early with this week's Reporter's Roundtable, so that we're all free to start off tomorrow's July 4th celebration with a bang.

And apparently, a bang on the head is all Donald Trump needed

to get Republican hardliners to support his big, beautiful bill after all. After all, they're

bitching, complaining, and pledges to vote no. So with a final vote, most likely coming this morning, Republicans looks like they're going

to meet Donald Trump's self-imposed July 4 deadline, and with the president still threatening

to primary anyone who voted against the bill, and Elon Musk threatening to primary anyone

who votes for it. Meanwhile, just yesterday, one more media

giant caved into Donald Trump when Paramount, which owns CBS, coughed up $16 million because

Trump didn't like the way 60 Minutes edited its interview with Kamala Harris last October.

And also this week, rookie Mandani, Geron Mandani, stunned in New York City by winning the Democratic primary for mayor,

but the Trump administration now threatens to arrest and deport him because he's a naturalized

citizen, which of course is also the case

for First Lady Melania Trump.

Ah, what a mess, but what fun to cover it all.
