Which Chargers running back are we picking up this week? If we're picking one up, that and more this week on the couch. Important week, every week's important. But this one feels especially important on the way of wire. And for our teams at a crossroads, we bring in Theo, Griminger, Theo from Fantasy Points, working there with a good friend Scott Barrett. At Theo, Omerian Hampton, you know, it's a marathon through a minefield. Amerian Hampton teams, boom, there goes your left leg. Are you going to do anything about it as far as picking up a charge of running back? Yeah, I think I'm going to be bidding on both of these players. I don't think this is one where you need to push the chips all in. I don't think it's that sort of situation.

Hampton, I think when he comes back from the IR, he's going to step right back into a similar high volume, two-way role that we've seen.

I don't think this is a situation where it's like a Rico Dowdell gets his opportunity and then

turns it into a committee.

I think this is a few weeks where you're going to get some utility out of one of these guys.

I talked about it yesterday on my Waverwire show with Joe Dolan and Tom Brawley.

I think Hassan Haskin specifically for this week is going to get the first crack at it.

But I think if you're looking at someone who

can produce for you for a month, it's Kamani Vidal. Vidal was almost, I like him to like a meme stock

last year where there was a lot of people sort of pushing in on Kamani Vidal. It sort of became a

thing. And there was a ton of disappointment with people that

maybe were a little too enthusiastic about a sixth round draft pick out of Troy. But now

Kamani Vidal has that's kind of the second lease on life here. And just looking at Omarian Hampton,

just how valuable he's been the last few weeks as a pass catcher.

Right.

That's not Hassan Haskin. So if it's like for like as a pass catcher, it's going to be Kamani Vidal. So I think it's, you have to look at it context for your team. If it's just this week, it might be Haskins, but if it's for a month, I'm betting on Vidal. yeah I think and I think that's the right way to look at it and the right way to parse it out, because Haskins is the guy that made the team over Vidal. He's the more rugged inside runner. If there's rushing touchdowns to be had, he'll probably have them. If there's second half carries to nurse a lead, he'll probably get them them but vidal has more juice in the open field

he's more of a contributor in the passing game and that's another Greg bruman offense turning

over a new leaf is you know running back targets uh and uh just i think if one of them's going to help

you significantly during this time it's more likely to to be it all. But that brings up another

issue is to split these two backs and otherwise going forward because things change so much. I mean,

I think that, you know, it's funny, Theo, because I like to beat the drum about the new reality

that we learn in like the first few weeks time.
