So the NFL approved some new rules changes. I'm going to get to those momentarily. But the league also announced in Phoenix yesterday. I'm pretty sure we knew this because I think John Oran from Puck News told us this a few months back that the NFL was leaning in the direction of eliminating the double-header Monday night games.

So they did that.

No more than one game on Monday night football in the upcoming NFL season,

2026.

They did not see a huge bump in ratings from it.

The staggered times, you know, I actually liked the two games on Monday night because at least your chances

of getting at least one competitive game were doubled.

And there are Monday nights in which you get a non-competitive game, and there's no other

option out there.

I didn't mind them, but they are doing away with Monday night double

header games. I mean, they weren't even true double headers because they would just stagger

the start time, a seven, you know, a seven o'clock and an eight, 20 or whatever. I know that some of the

West Coast games, sometimes you had, you know, a 715 and a 1015 or something like that.

But no more of those.

Now, why do you think they're doing that?

They're doing that because they want to take those games back, five of them from last year,

six of them, something like that.

And they're going to package those games together and sell them to a streaming service.

And we're going to get a Thanksgiving Eve game.

You know, Wednesday night Thanksgiving Eve game.

We're going to get another triple header Christmas Day spectacular.

Because that's been sold on a year to year basis
