Hey y'all, welcome back to another episode of How God Prepairs You for Marriage Part 35. And today we're talking about who can find. So y'all, I'm excited for this episode. I'm always excited for the episodes, but I'm excited because this one is going to is going to be quick fast and straight to the point let's get into it so i was talking to a friend right and she was saying how frustrating it is being in a single season and wanting to have a husband and she was like you know and i'm gonna be completely honest with y'all okay we haven't girl talk if you're a man you get a chance to be in on the girl talk okay so me and my friend we're out to eating and she's

talking and she's like yeah i don't understand why i'm still in this waiting season when it comes

to my husband because like i'm a good woman like i have great yep she said it yep yep

she said i have great i have my own place i have money i'm very driven i'm very clean i cook

like you know she's like naming out all of these characteristics of why she's a great woman and why she's a great wife and she just don't understand why she's in her waiting season. So I'm very intentional with when I'm talking to people, I don't interrupt me. Like, I'm going to let you get out everything that you have to get out before I say what I have to say. So as she's talking, she's listing everything that makes her a good wife and a good woman.

And she's just like, so I don't know why I'm not in a relationship, why I'm not married yet, because I am a good woman. So when she finished listening everything that makes her a good woman, expressing and sharing the frustration of not understanding why she's not married yet, or why nobody has put a ring on it yet.

I was like, do you feel like you're walking to your purpose?

And she was like, no.

And I was like, do you feel like you're walking in your purpose?

And she was like, no. And I was like, so that's your answer. Because you can list out all of these things that make great, great sex, houses clean, I cook, I shut up, I wake up early, I do this, I can do that. You can list all of these things, but if you're not walking in your

purpose, you're not the complete package, point in like period. So then we had this whole

conversation about walking in and doing what God has caused you to do. You're so focused on a person,

but you're not even fulfilling your purpose and what God created you to do. And a lot of times what

people forget is that your purpose changes you into the person that God is calling you to be so you're praying to god for a husband and god is like i can't send that man because you're not you yet you're not you haven't become the version of you that i need you to be to be effective in this marriage so i'm talking to her and i'm just talking to her about the importance and walking in your purpose.

And I was like, if you begin to walk in your purpose, you won't have time to focus on the fact that you don't have a person there. And before you know it, the person to be next to you, but you need to get focused and get set on your purpose. So we have that conversation, you know, according to her, of course, I encourage her to tell her I'm not talking down and Like, I'm just sharing with you from a godly perspective why you may still be in your waiting season. Like, you think you're waiting on God. God is waiting on you. So after we have that conversation, a few days later, I'm doing my quiet time. And God leads me to the book of Proverbs chapter 31 and verse 10. and it says, and the subtitle is A Wife of Noble Character and it says, who can find
