Dr Nicely. The clicking sound is so persistent, haunting me to no end. I try to steer my focus elsewhere,

but the only light illuminating the room is coming from the moon outside, which paints the atmosphere in an equally

unsettling glow.

From where I'm sitting in the corner, my eyes dart to the window and I desperately search for a logical source of the irritating noise.

It's all an act, for I know deep down that I'm in complete denial of where the sound is actually coming from.
