Summary
Since the 60s, Disney World has operated almost like an autonomous region. They collect their own taxes, pave their own roads, and permit their own buildings. That may be coming to an end soon. What impact this will have on the Magic Kingdom isn't known, but there's always one thing for sure: ticket prices will go up. It's like the rising of the sun every morning. The world could end and Disney World would still, somehow, get more expensive.
