Summary

Have you ever had someone tell you that you should see a therapist? It seems today, there is an overwhelming reliance on therapists both inside and outside of the church. As Christians, are we seeking godly counsel when we face trials, or are we looking for worldly solutions?

Today, I’m wrapping up my summer encore episodes with a re-release of my discussion with my friends, and founders of Home Improvement Ministries, Drs. Paul and Virginia Friesen. They joined me to talk about the seasons in life where we need to seek godly counsel to help us navigate through the trauma and challenges of life, and how to identify when we need to seek that counsel.

It’s important to have Christ-centered resources when you need them. If this is an episode you've already heard, share this episode with some friends that maybe you've been having this discussion with, to help have those hard discussions that the church is neglecting.
