Today I am honored to speak with Dr. Ian McFarlane.

After four years as Regis Professor of Divinity at Cambridge,

he's returned as the Robert

W. Woodruff Professor of Theology at Emory University's Candler School of Theology. He is the author

of the new book, The Word Made Flesh, a Theology of the Incarnation, published with Westminster

John Knox Press in 2019, and my thanks to them for sending me a copy of this book.

He's also published many other books, such as his 2014 book, From Nothing, A Theology of Creation.

I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to talk with Ian today. I'll just say I totally nerded out over this book.
