Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast.

My name is Charlene.

And I'm Gail.

And we are coming to you from sunny today anyway, Santa Cruz, California.

And sunny is remarkable because it's the first week of January.

And it's very sunny.

It's like a summer day.

This past weekend, I think it almost hit 70.

In our house, it was in the 70s, plural, yes. So it's an unusual winter, but we're enjoying it.

And still wearing hand knits, I should add. Yep.

So this is our first podcast and we're looking forward to introducing some regular topics,

we hope, and here we go.

Let's give you a little bit of information about ourselves first and we're only giving you a little teaser of information so that there's more to look forward to in the future.

As I mentioned, my name is Charlene and just short about me.

Gail and I actually are both moms. We have families. We're both active moms.

Both of us have two kids at home right now.

At home. Two kids at home. Gail has a third who is not living at home right now. At home. Two kids at home.

Gail has a third who is not living at home currently.

I work part-time at a local yarn store.

Full disclosure here, but this is separate from my employment.

And I also, as Charlene said, am a mom.

We both have kids in elementary school, middle school, and I also have an older daughter
