Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast.

0:11.7

This is episode number 318, which we are recording on Thursday, March 21st, 2024.

0:18.7

I'm Gail.

0:19.5

And I'm Charlene.

0:20.6

We've had like five takes trying to get this started,

0:23.9

so we're just going to go. Charlene, what do you wear? I have been wearing my calic sweater.

0:31.1

It is a pullover or jumper by Elizabeth Doherty. I made mine back in March of 2018, I believe right after the pattern came out,

0:42.5

I believe the pattern came out earlier that year, and I made mine with one strand of the

1:41.7

It's really nice.

1:43.0

And like I said, it's remained one of my favorite

1:46.0

sweaters to this day, both for the pattern and the yarns that I used. Calix. Yeah. And that's spelled

1:54.2

C-A-L-Y-X by Elizabeth Doherty. What are you wearing, Gail? Well, I have been wearing the last two days my

2:02.0

solosta pullover, which is a sweater pattern by Kindred Red, and it's a very unique sweater.

2:09.9

It's knit entirely in mohair, yet you hold doubled little scraps of yarn randomly

2:17.1

throughout the sweater.

2:18.3

So at the top, it's a top-down circular yolk.

2:21.1

You hold little scraps more often at the top.
