Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast.

0:11.2

This is episode number 244, which we are recording on Thursday, May 6, 2021.

0:18.6

I'm Gail.

0:19.6

And I'm Charlene.

0:25.8

And I think we're recording this time. We are. Big Cheer.

0:29.8

We've got a couple glitches. So let's just, I'm not going to attempt fate. Let's just get right into it. What are you wearing? What I have been wearing is my beekeeper cardigan, which is a pattern

0:36.5

by Marie Green. I knit my beekeeper cardigan back which is a pattern by Marie Green.

0:55.3

Yeah.

0:56.1

1:22.4

open front cardigan that doesn't have button holes. So it's not really a true button band, but it's the

1:29.4

front edging that the buttons and buttonhole would be placed into and upon if it did have

1:37.0

those closures. And I think when I recorded it, when I knit it, I had some reservations about the front bands because I remember I tried a couple of different things to have it lay flatter and also to get the correct number of stitches picked up. And I tried several different

2:06.5

numbers. And I felt like when it got down to even four stitches difference minus four stitches, it didn't look right. And adding four stitches, it still didn't, it didn't look right for different reasons. Like two flared with one and not enough stitches the other. With only a difference of four stitches? Yeah, which is just one one rib and one
