And I'm Charlene.

And boy, we've had a weird weather pattern the last couple of days.

Weird.

Giant hail storm that turned Charlene's yard into a winter wonderland.

It looked like it had snowed.

It really did.

It was beautiful.

Very pretty.

And it's, we have that weird weather where it rains for like, oh, I don't know, an hour. And then all of a sudden there are blue skies and then it rains for another hour. It's very odd for Santa Cruz. Very odd. Have you managed to catch any spectacular rainbows? No, I have not. I have not either. And I've gone out rainbow hunting at the times when the sun comes out and I still have it.

I can't go rainbow hunting right now with my eye. Oh, that's right. I'm having, so I haven't been

on Ravelry very much the last few days and trying not to look at my computer screen too much because

I have a normal aging happening in my eye

where the vitreous gel apparently oxidizes in turns to liquid. And in some people, that causes

your eye to pull on the retina. So I'm having this really weird visual effect in my right eye where I'm

having this weird black curved shadow on the bottom vision on my right eye,

went to the eye doctor because it was very alarming to have this suddenly start. And he said,

oh yeah, this is what's happening. And for the next four to six weeks, you're at risk of a retinal tear

or detachment. So I've been trying to be very, very careful with my eyeballs. I will not be

looking up into a bright sky.
