I'm proud to say that it has been a holiday that we celebrate here. We usually do have a big

gathering downtown where there is music and food and some basketball played, I know.

And I think actually as we speak, my husband is attending a Zoom Juneteenth festivity at his work that they have done in the past as well. So it's by a long

shot, not our first year with this holiday, despite what our president would have everybody think.

Yeah, yeah. All right, so on to the knitting. What are you wearing? Well, I am wearing

my event shirt for a past knockers retreat right now, and I haven't been wearing too many

knitted items. The weather has been quite warm, but I do remember wearing my renunculus sweater at some

point in the past couple of weeks. Now, you two. And like you, Gail, probably the reason that

you've been wearing that sweater is because it is so nice and light.

The fabric is made with, let's see, I made mine with one strand of a fingering and one strand of a mohair.

And so the fabric is extremely nice and light, and that makes it easy to wear on

cooler mornings because we are having, our days have been back and forth. We've had a few days

that are cool and then a few days that are really, really hot. So it gives some opportunity for sweater wear.
