| 0:41.3 | because of the killing of George Floyd. And we don't want to be silent about that. And we're |
| 0:48.5 | going to keep it short and just from the heart because that's what we do. And I just want to say that I've been doing my best |
| 0:55.7 | to educate myself and learn about my white privilege and how I can be a better human since last |
| 1:05.7 | January when this discussion started in the knitting community and I'm very grateful that it did start because |
| 1:12.6 | I wasn't aware of a lot of things about myself and society and the world in general. And this is |
| 1:22.4 | acting as a very strong reminder that I will never stop learning. My learning is just beginning, |
| 1:31.2 | and it's been over a year. I haven't even dipped my toe in the amount of learning I need to do. |
| 1:38.2 | And my family has been learning with me, and I'm participating in protests here locally and I'm doing all I can to learn |
| 1:49.8 | and act and to just be quiet and listen. And like Gail, I feel I also have a lot to learn. |
