| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast. This is episode number 219, which we are recording on Wednesday, May 20th, 2020. Hey, it's 20, 2020. Oh my gosh, it is. I'm Gail. And I'm Charlene. The small things |
| 0:25.5 | excite me lately. 20, 2020. All right. So what a way to kick it off. What are you wearing, |
| 0:32.5 | Charlene? Well, I have been wearing both of my Ellery sweaters this week. |
| 0:39.1 | Let's see, one of them is made in a cotton, and the other one is made in a wool-mo hair blend. |
| 0:46.0 | So they're very different, and the weather has been so opposite on days that I've been wearing both of them. |
| 0:54.8 | Nice. |
| 0:55.7 | Yeah. |
| 0:56.6 | It's one of my more recently finished sweaters, both of them. |
| 1:01.8 | So they're kind of sitting on the top of the pile at this point. |
| 1:05.7 | And in the mornings when it's been chilly, I've been reaching for both of those. |
| 1:10.2 | Ellery is a top-down circular yoke |
| 1:13.9 | with a slip stitch pattern pullover sweater designed by Elizabeth Doherty. And let's see, |
| 1:22.3 | like I said, one of them I made in cotton. So that one is very different texturally from the wool and mohair version. |
| 1:32.3 | But the pattern surprisingly works for both. |
| 1:36.1 | And actually, as I'm going to talk about later in the podcast for another project, |
| 1:42.1 | not all patterns work for both. So this one, this pattern worked well for both |
| 1:48.1 | kinds of yarn. And I'm happy with both of them and they both have their place in my wardrobe. |
| 1:54.4 | Excellent. Yeah. I've been I've been scrolling through like friends finished objects that they |
| 2:00.1 | show in Ravelry. It's one of my daily things now I have to scroll through and see what |
| 2:05.1 | everybody's finished. And Dagmar just finished a beautiful Ellery that's just a beautiful |
| 2:10.9 | red color. It looks fantastic on her. So I went down the Ellery rabbit hole today. Nice. Both of |
| 2:17.1 | mine sadly still need photographs. |
