Thank you, everyone, for coming to this live celebration of the Yarniaks podcast.

Can you believe we're starting our seventh year of podcasting?

It's been a crazy, wonderful, delightful ride. Okay, so without further ado,

let's start the celebration. And it wouldn't be the Yarnie X podcast without Nani adding to the

ambiance. So we're at Charlene's house, ready to record our first ever Academy Award show.

We had to do something fun for our podcast anniversary.

So let's start off with the best pattern of the year.

For me, I took several things into consideration.

I looked at what I had fun knitting, what other people had fun knitting.

So I went and looked at popular patterns that were released in 2018.

The pattern that I picked is Fading Point by Hoheilo Citelli.

Yay!

I believe it is one of the more popular patterns this year.

It is a huge shawl that allows knitters to pair five skeins of fingering weight yarn.

Count them.
