Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast, which we are recording on Wednesday, April 27th, 2016.

I'm Gail.

And I'm Charlene.

And we are recording on location again.

So if you hear interesting bird sounds, they are literally

right outside the window. We are parked near the Santa Cruz archery range, up on the hill,

kind of overlooking the ocean a bit. So we were attempting to record at my house today,

but thanks to the neighbor's tree work and very loud chippers, we're

here today. I pulled up and said to Charlene, I hope they aren't planning on continuing to use

that tree chipper across the street, and sure enough, they had just been on a lunch break, and as

soon as we sat down to record, the chipper went on very loudly. So here we are.

We're on location.

So what are you wearing today?

I am wearing an oldie but a goodie.

I knit this sweater back in, well, I started it back in September of 2009.

Yeah.

Finished it in February of 2010.

I don't know why.

I do kind of remember that it sat.

I'm suspecting that I probably finished it and didn't put the buttons on for a long time.

So this sweater is the favorite cardigan by Wendy Bernard.

It is in her book, Custom Nits. It was the first Custom Nits book, and I still absolutely love that book. I still really love this sweater.
