Summary

In addition to welcoming the new year, January brings our podcast anniversary. Four years of Gayle and I chatting about knits, our yarns, project fails and project wins. We've learned a lot about knitting, about podcasting, and about our listeners as we've recorded over the past four years. The heartfelt thanks I expressed last year to our wonderful Yarniacs community still holds true, and I repeat it here today.

"The community we have formed on Ravelry with our fellow yarniacs has been the most fulfilling and wonderful part of podcasting. We can't thank you all enough for listening, for participating in our knit-a-longs, for chatting, and for playing along with us in social media. Truly, you have enhanced our knitting lives."

The only thing I can think to add is that I hope Gayle and I have enhanced your knitting lives in some small way and that you will continue to follow along with our knitting adventures. We have so much more to share with you!

0:24.1	We are super excited.
0:25.6	We have some exciting things that are new to the podcast today, a new segment.
0:30.1	We are going to be offering some t-shirts for sale, which we will talk about more at the end of the podcast.
0:37.2	And we are going to announce the
0:39.2	Shalamar Yarn winners that I forgot to announce the last episode. We did forget to announce them.
0:45.1	We've determined that we're great at hosting knit alongs, but we are awful at actually announcing
0:50.7	prizes. Even though we prepare for it. We do. We prepare.
0:55.0	We just forget to do it.
0:56.0	So the Shalamar yarn, we had two different skeins that were two different threads.
1:01.0	We opened, one for each yarn type.
1:04.0	The first one is the Shalamar Erie, which is the fingering Marino silk Mohair blend. And the winner of that was post number 52 which is
1:15.0	knitting travels who is shelly and she would knit a pebble beach chalet with that yarn which i thought
1:19.9	was an awesome choice and the other was for the shallomar breathless kush, which is the Aaron Waite, delicious,
1:28.5	cushy stuff.
1:29.4	And I've been wearing my mitts that I knit with that a lot lately.
