Hello my friends, Carrie Green here. I'm so glad to have you with me for the

morning mindset. This is our opportunity to get our minds align with the truth of God's word for this day.

If you ever heard the phrase, the wrath of God is coming or he called down the wrath of God.

People usually say that to refer to their own anger,

their own upsetness about something

and that they're going to do something about whatever has taken place.

But I think it's something we should pay very close attention to, that the thing they're

appealing to, the wrath of God, is something we take to mean an ominous thing, something terrible

that we wouldn't want to happen.

Today's passage, Ephesians 5, 6, and 7 is going to introduce us to that concept in view of the kind of behavior

that people engage in and God's attitude of wrath toward that behavior. We're going to unpack it a bit and I think you're going to find

we're not talking about this capricious god who's angry for no reason, he's just critical of everyone,

no. There are very specific reasons that make
