Hello, I'm Gary Stearman of Prophecy Watchers, and across the table from me is an author,

and by the way, a Bible teacher of the first magnitude, his thank you Rick renner I'm so glad to be

with you Gary well Rick it's gonna be good because you've got a book here and it's right in

front of me and it's called the world before the flood and when you first think about that

you know I don't need to know any more than I already know about the world before the flood, do I?

Well, there's a lot to know about the world before the flood, but it's not usually taught in church.

We all grew up in church thinking that we knew the story of Noah's Ark, that it was Noah and a bunch of animals on a boat and then the rainbow appeared and that's basically

all the people know there's a lot to the story a lot and and it has very very very powerful

connotations this is significance for us right now yeah very strong and and let's get into that. All right. Because I'm sure that people

heard you say that. How can that be? Can I first tell you where I live? Sure. I live in Moscow,

Russia. And in 1991, I was invited to speak in the first above ground Bible school in the history of the Soviet Union.

Really? So I went and Gary, to be honest, I did not want to go. I was angry about growing.

I did not want to go to the mission field. I was busy traveling and teaching, but somebody kind of conned me into a mission trip.

So I got into that school and looked at 220 students,

most of them from families where their fathers and their

grandparents had spent time in prison for their faith.

And now they were there to study the Bible

for the first time in 70 years.

And when I stood up to speak to those students the first time I opened

my Bible and I heard the Holy Spirit say, are you ready for this? I'm ready. Welcome to your new home.

I almost fell on the floor because I knew I heard the Lord speak to me. And the whole time I taught that
