So in this episode we're going to discuss a mutiny at the 2015 World Cup.

This is when the Spanish women's team with the attention of the world focused on them

used that spotlight, highlight inequality and sexism in the women's game.

Yeah, it's something too that's obviously become a larger talking point and point of action

for a lot of these women and their national teams across the globe.

I could speak from experience of watching the US women's team fight for equal pay and inequality,

which they basically haven't had for their entire existence despite how successful they've been.

And a lot of these women, Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and others have been very public in their

fight over the years, whether it's through equal playing fields or travel, really any way that

they represent the United States. And so it goes beyond even just the money that they make.

So all these women are obviously fighting for an incredibly good thing.

Yeah, I think one of the cool things about this episode is that it takes you inside the coup

and it shows you how the players organize themselves, what the tipping point was,

they eventually led them to speak truth to power. So all right, Steve, let's get into it.
