Summary

At eleven years old, she chose to sleep in the cellar of her great-grandmother’s house—unaware she was stepping into a space that was already occupied. What followed wasn’t a single haunting, but a relationship: a drowned woman named Anne, a colder figure who touched and shook the bed, and a growing sense that the house was reacting to her presence.

Years later, after moving back to Abilene with her fiancé, the activity returned—stronger, more physical, and no longer limited to familiar spirits. When a protective family pendant vanished, something else arrived. Something that crawled instead of walked. Something that made even Anne afraid.

This is a story about unlocked spaces, inherited boundaries, and the moment a haunting escalates into a territorial fight for ownership.
