But this Veterans Day in America is also particularly somber in the wake of the tragedy at Fort Hood.

At Fort Hood, Texas, a 39-year-old army psychiatrist allegedly walked into a crowded room where

soldiers were getting ready for a deployment and opened fire.

According to authorities, the gunman, Major Nidal Malik Hassan fired more than 100 rounds
