Okay, so let's talk about stress in this podcast and in a lot of the conversations around mindfulness

We're often talking about how we can relate to a moment differently or hold a stressful

experience such that we're not adding extra attention to the experience or we're not exacerbating

the stress by getting caught in all of our perceived demands that might not actually

be true with what's your right now.

And you can do some psychological jujitsu in a certain moment and it can help reduce

the amount of tension or stress you're feeling and those strategies are well and good.

But I also want to acknowledge that sometimes if stress is continuing to show up in our

lives, especially around certain things, relationships, our work, or just our general

path in life, if you're noticing that a lot, it's coming up in your mind and in your

body, you're feeling this experience of stress and distress, it might not just be something

that you need to learn to breathe through or be more present for.

It may be something deep in you knocking at the door of your being saying something

here is not right, something is off.

Where out of alignment, this relationship isn't working, this job is not fulfilling me.
