Ladies and gentlemen and everyone else, you know this guy from the wonderful history of Rome podcast as well as revolutions and soon coming up. The Duncan and co history show. Mike Duncan is in fact here. Yes. Hell yeah. There we go. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Where's the applause? I got a soundboard. I got all sorts of shit I could do. Great. Yeah. See, this is, you know, I listen to revolutions. And I've always noticed that like the big problem I've had with it is so many moments where you could do a reggae horn. Yeah. And you just, you know, you left it out. I just I kept waiting for the right moment. And it just never showed up, which is why there's no sound effects.

No sound effects and no music and no anything in revolutions or the history of Rome. It's just one guy talking in a monotone voice about, yeah, history, which I listen, I, I will admit completely that I love the show. And I also, and I don't know if you've heard this before. I'm sure you have.

I fall asleep to it sometimes. Not saying that. Oh, no, no, no, I take that as a compliment. Yeah, it's like this thing where it's like I just I've listened to the show multiple times. And then at some point, I realize that like, oh, this is kind of like good to fall asleep to as well. Not like in a way where it's like always boring. No, it's just that you have a soothing voice.

Whereas like and and the content is just interesting enough that you don't tune it out. But then right also soothing enough that it kind of just takes you way to to slumberland. Yeah, yeah, it's very soothing content, you know, with the beheadings and whatnot. Right. Exactly.

I love a good, you know, I love a good war, a world war one type war that just goes on and on. I love the, you know, all the massacres, the many massacres that happen on Sundays and other days, but I, but I tell it to you.

Like a lullaby. You do. You almost sing it. It's like with a nice little Irish lilt. Uh, but I have that argument with my wife a lot where she likes to fall asleep to things with like a

laugh track that, you know, like old sitcoms and stuff. And I need like a good true crime about like murder or history podcast about beheadings to really like take my brain away from my reality.

And yeah, I've been, I've been, I've been falling asleep lately to like the old like BBC a poro series. Oh, yeah, which is, which is just that. It's like, it's all just very chill.

You know, you know, like there's like a chase scene, but it's like nobody's going more than 15 miles an hour. It's just like, right, they're on by charming. Yeah, exactly.

I know, I know who did it. So I'm just kind of going through the motions of like watching this Belgian guy be kind of adorable.

Yeah. Yeah. No, and also, you know, that, that accent. It's a sleepy time accent. Yeah. Yeah. That's the type of guy you want to talk you to sleep. But, um, yeah. So the wire. Let's talk about it. You're here.
