In May of 1993, 3 8 year old boys, one sexually mutilated, were found murdered in woods near

West Memphis, Arkansas.

One year later, a jury convicted three local teenagers on the theory that they committed

murders as a satanic ritual.

The lead defendant, Damian Eccles, was sentenced to death.

I discussed this case with my special guest returning to the show, William Ramsey.

Yeah, it's really was my second book.

My earlier book was about Alistair Crowley and I was working on my third book, which was

titled Children of the Beast.

So I was really kind of trying to show Crowley's influence and expose Crowley's influence

upon the 20th century through individuals.

And while I was doing that, I came across this video of the trial of the West Memphis

3 and it involved Alistair Crowley, there was a sequence that talked about how this kind

of main character, Damian Eccles, was writing in a secret language in one of the names he

used as Alistair Crowley.

And I didn't know much about the case I had watched an earlier documentary from about

1996.

And so now that Crowley was involved, I really wanted to take a look.

Well, I started researching this about 2012.
