Gary Binkow is the owner and operator of Root 2 Rise Farms in Santa Barbara, where he's transforming an organic avocado and coffee farm through regenerative agriculture. A former Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning producer, Gary left a decades-long career in film and digital media—where he produced over 50 films and helped build one of the world’s largest digital agencies—to pursue a mission in holistic health and sustainable farming. He also led global digital marketing for Dr. Valter Longo, helping turn a fasting-focused health brand into a billion-dollar business. Now deeply immersed in the wellness space, Gary speaks candidly about the challenges of healthcare, the pitfalls of popular health scans, the importance of gut health, and the need for land stewardship. His latest venture: building a global wellness media company to shake up the podcasting world.
