Thank you. prayer that the message will be a help to you today. When I started working, I served as a youth director for seven years.

And then when I was shifted into college work, helped develop a program for youth ministry majors.

And my pastor said to me when I first started, he said, Scott, tell me what you think a youth

director is supposed to do. And I just very quickly and stupidly said oh work with young people

and he said wrong he said your job is to work with families and he said your job is

to develop other youth workers he said because there'll be a limit in how many

teenagers you can personally deal with he said Jesus had 12 disciples there's going to be a

limit on how many people you can invest your life in but he said if you can strengthen

families you help those kids for the rest of their life and if you can reproduce

yourself in the lives of other youth workers

Then you can multiply how many young people can be reached and can be taught that really helped me

And so I admire what you're doing and I love this group. I love this format and

What I'm gonna do I'm gonna share a thought with this morning ask you to write a few things down so if you've got something to write on
