here. Yeah for sure so my show is unique because we ask all of our

guests the same first question which is to walk us through your career talk about your

career arc and you've done quite a bit since finishing Howard.

Can you walk us through each one of your career stops since Howard and the work that you do

now at Vox? Yeah so after graduating from Howard I stayed in DC.

And the first job I got after college

was as a desk assistant at the NBC Washington Bureau.

So, you know, entry level, working on the assignment desk, seeing how sort of all the pieces work together.

After that, I was a producer for what at the time was Time Warner Cable News, but now a spectrum with New York One.

So, you know, producing and doing a lot of behind the scenes work for coverage about Texas,
