The veteran media strategist reflects on Chuck Schumer's once-golden Sunday pressers and how his "price-of-milk politics" model needs updating for 2025. He discusses New York Democrats' strategic silence in the Mamdani race, Hillary Clinton's 2000 outreach to Hasidic women, and why he can praise Trump's Middle East diplomacy without voting for him. Plus, an inquiry into which seven wars Trump claims to have ended, including the murky Kosovo-Serbia "peace," and the legacy of Dick Cheney, measured against the one war he chose to start.

| 0:00.0 | It's Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 from Peachfish Productions. |
| 0:07.8 | It's the gist. I'm Mike Peska. |
| 0:10.0 | And this is my least favorite news day. |
| 0:12.1 | It's one of my favorite news nights, election nights, when we get the results and we know what happened during the day. |
| 0:17.5 | But during the day, all reporters can do is go to the polls and talk about a closely fought election, even if it's not closely fought, and interview people coming out of the polls, and some say they're going to vote for this guy, and some say they're going to vote for the other guy, and then you see the candidate actually going to the polls, getting out of usually a black Chevy Suburban, holding a cup of coffee, waving to the cameras coming back. Who'd you vote for? Ha, ha, ha, ha, I'm not saying. Terrible. Hate it all. So what I did was I caught up on some news that I had missed, or at least I hadn't brought to you. Don't worry, you could rest assured that I watch everything as soon as it comes out. And I'm talking about the 60 Minutes interview with President Donald J. Trump. There were a lot of |
| 0:55.3 | untruths, misstatements in the interview. I do have to say, I don't want to bend over |
| 1:01.8 | backwards too much to this guy who is based a presidency on untruths and misstatements. But he says |
| 1:08.4 | what he wants to say usually. And I've gotten into a debate with friends of mine like Michael A. Cohen about Joe Biden's mental decline versus Donald Trump's and they'll play things that Trump says. And yeah, he often says things that are not just outrageous, but like, what is he talking about? He's mumbly-mouthed and he's not saying the right |
| 1:27.7 | words. This was not that. He talked faster and looser, but also, I got to say more coherently |
| 1:34.4 | than most of Joe Biden's later. Not that it matters, right? Joe Biden did not deny the results |
| 1:41.4 | of the 2020 election. So I honed in. |
| 1:44.4 | There were a bunch of things that were not true. |
| 1:46.5 | CNN does the thing that CNN does, where they count the 13 or 33 or however many |
| 1:51.5 | untrue things he said. |
| 1:52.9 | But I was looking at one particular area. |
| 1:56.1 | Donald Trump has been saying that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. |
| 1:59.3 | Fine. |
| 2:00.1 | Azerbaijan also agrees, right? |
| 2:02.2 | Because he's settled and sometimes he says seven and sometimes he says eight wars or world conflicts. |
| 2:08.1 | Which were they? So he gave a list and some we knew to be on the list. One was Israel and |
| 2:14.2 | Hamas and you'll hear all of the others. Cambodia, Thailand, Kosovo, Serbia, Congo, the Congo and Rwanda, Pakistan and India. |
| 2:24.3 | That was going to be a beauty. |
