All right, 321. Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates. On tonight show, I have a very special guest who published a book last year. His name is Drew Grafia. The title of the book is The Warrior Priest Mindset, A Necessary Diotomy for God's Chosen Knights. I read the book. It's an excellent book. I got fired up reading it. So I'm glad

that he's taking time out of his busy schedule to talk about the book and, you know, talk about

some of the details in there and what it takes to be a knight for the Lord. So, Drew, are you there?

I'm here. How are you doing? I'm doing well. Thanks for agreeing to the interview.

So for people who haven't heard your name or your background, can you talk a little bit about

yourself and what inspired you to write a book of this style?

Sure. So I basically, I worked for 10 years at a company called Medieval Times. It's in

Buena Park, California. At that place, I would sword fight, joust, ride horses, and it was a medieval dinner tournament

show.

So you'd show up.

There'd be six nights.

They'd have a tournament, and then at the end, they'd be fighting and jousting.

So I did that for 10 years, and along the way, one of the characters I ended up playing the most was the warrior priest.

Now, the warrior priest had a cross on his tunic.

He had black stripes and white stripes.

So he was the one that was the Christian night.

And as I became a Christian, I think two years into my stay there, I became a Christian.

My whole journey through Christianity has also been coupled with this job and this night mentality.

So from seeing this character, the warrior priest, is being fascinated with them,

fascinated with a holy warrior type of character, it started to make me realize that the Messiah also has this

dual nature. You know, Jesus was also a lion and a lamb. So this kept like, you know, poking at me as I

was there, like, man, isn't this cool? Isn't this cool? And then eventually, um, God called me and my wife
