But today I'm bringing Connor on Media Roots to talk about something that I don't think most

people realize is going on. And it has to do with, I think it's talk about something that I don't think most people realize is going on.

And it has to do with, I think it's an issue that really affects us all.

People interested in freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and just freedom and

civil rights in general in this country.

And it's an issue that I think it's largely marginalized because it's considered taboo by a lot of people.

And that is the issue of sex workers.

And most people think of sex workers as being only people who perform prostitution.

But sex workers encompass a lot more than that, including porn stars, cam models. It's an umbrella that describes

a lot of different people. What's happening right now is the Senate just passed a bill overwhelmingly.

The acronym for it is Fasta Sesta. And it's essentially a law that was designed to stop sex trafficking by punishing websites

that they describe as allowing sex trafficking, primarily child sex trafficking.

On March 28, 2018, seven men associated with running the website backpage were indicted on federal charges.
