Hey guys, welcome to the show. Today I want to take a look at a New York Times article that once again denigrates motherhood and mothers and the family as well.

0:46.9

And I mean, this is a common, very common theme

0:51.1

in the New York Times. There's at least one if not three or four

0:55.2

articles that demean women that denigrate women and the family and that have a

1:04.4

feminist, very strong feminists undertone,

1:07.1

if not just a tone or overtone.

1:50.0

hurting their career prospects.

1:53.0

1:57.0

I'm not saying that women shouldn't work or that mothers shouldn't work,

2:02.0

but it has now become the default position of our society and our culture that if a woman or a mother doesn't work, she's seen as somehow less than, or she's seen as some sort of anachronism, or, you know, someone to be pitied.

2:18.8

And that's what, just when I read these articles, it just upsets me. So I want to get into this piece. It was written by

2:28.6

three people and it came out I think think, a week ago, or a week or two ago, but I just, I read, you know, I read these articles in the New York Times and they just flabbergast.
