Error what do you think of this princess focused episode?

This was the second best episode of the bonus episodes. Unfortunately that's not saying a lot.

I mean we. We needed these episodes I think or I as we didn't need the episodes but to the extent of these episodes are going to be used well they should like fill in some character blank some some the lesser known characters so that we can care about them replace the cast of characters you already did the word did care about we've lost over the big wars the last year.

So filling out like what goes on and princesses head and what motivates her and her fears and all that kind of stuff is it was good.

However I mean I think you really see the limits of these bottle episodes like this was an extremely short episode is like 37 minutes all up credits and everything.

And it just felt very limited it felt like you know these are pandemic restrictions no one can get within six feet of each other we're going to film mostly in this box.

But I you know I appreciate getting to know a little bit more about our stormtrooper overlords and kind of getting you know some like try to figure out what makes them tick and stuff because I think there's that's what's so interesting about them.

Is there just like that they're presenting themselves as if they're the uber powerful version of rick's group.

And how many times have we seen a rick's group taken a bunch of people put him in a cell and be like hey we're trying to answer some questions we need to know if you're good because we've got.

We're we're we got these procedures because we've got a lot to lose and like seeing our friends being on the other side of that is interesting.

Because if you think about all the shit that Rick pulled in the prison arc or they pulled in Alexandria arc and they you know there's been there's a lot of drama to mine here and like with the backdrop of like what if we fuck this up this is first contact with the larger civilization.

What if it's a good one and we just are sat too savage to join it so that's of his interesting but the execution so so it just felt so cheap man.

What you're talking about we definitely get like some characters who've been through that stuff but they're not actually those characters right this is all princess in her own head interpreting whatever the hell she thinks these characters are like but through her own lens and so I like none of what we see in this episode really applies to how our particular survivors would react.

Oh no I'm it like we've been through it like we as an audience so we've seen what it looks like to be and we're like why don't those people just shut up and go along with it and these are like now we see what it's like to be on the other end of that and I think that's why it's effective but yeah yeah you're right it this wasn't like Rick or Darryl in the cells is.

Yeah this is an audience we're certainly thinking all that I don't know I didn't dislike this episode I thought it was for what it was it was not bad I like the big reveal of this episode I don't know I everybody seen this episode right it's when you know the field it Zeke isn't real he's been a figment of her imagination the whole time that's.

That was pretty good and I feel like this show that there were a couple of moments where I'm like wait wait wait wait wait that doesn't make any sense they just.

Zeke is in this car this guard doesn't notice him where did Zeke go how did Zeke make it out of the car in two seconds flat when this guy walked in and they reveal that he wasn't real and I'm like oh okay that's walking dead in past seasons that would have just been a mistake that would have been something that some.

In turn on the separator and then it would Nicotara was like are you fucking kid nobody's gonna notice just we're not shooting for that no no you that takes rewrites we have to shut down production for a day forget about it and in this episode they actually took that into account made a part of the plot I I like that stuff um and I guess this means probably that we're gonna have to see more princess because the ultimate like fuck you to the audience is to waste your time with the bonus.
