Fame. Hall of Fame,

Fame, that has a certain eternal ring to it.

Most of us won't ever be in a Hall of Fame unless there's one in Spartanburg,

South Carolina for being sent to the principal's office for making bad grades and math.

Maybe we can't fully relate to playing for a national championship in basketball or

coaching a national championship team three different times but there's still something

to be learned from Kim Mulkey loyalty to yourself and to what you believe it's your

dream job you want it bad enough to get on your hands and knees and beg for it, but she still turned down the only school she had ever been connected to because they offered her four years and she thought five was fair.

Would we do that? Are we committed enough to what we

believe or want or believe is fair that we would walk away because 48 months

was offered and we really thought 60 months was right.

Kim Bulky did just that and it worked out perfectly for her and for her new school

Baylor University.

But the main lesson I learned from Kim Bulky

is that the small things in life matter.
