When last we left our adventures, Gaius Agni, Milo Brightbeam, Eastcanned Seat Lolli,

Otho Valentinius and Kai Valentinius. The party has found themselves in the final

throes in the fight against the curse that holds Esenvale in a state of undead.

After fighting off the retaliation from the horrible necromancer Wormtongue,

the party's final ritual was stopped in its tracks. Lin, the party's patron,

collapsed under the weight of the burden and soon imparted the party with the truth of her existence

as an undead creature. Lin herself was once queen of Esenvale and believes that the king is

responsible for holding off the completion of the third ritual and for plunging Esenvale into

such a terrible state. In weakened desperation, Lin entrusted the party with a magical scepter

and tasked them to use it to teleport to the castle to kill the king of Esenvale

to save the country from his actions. Now, as the party collect themselves and ready themselves

where it could be their final stand, we pierce the veil and return to the unexpected.
