Your eyewitness to grief, this is hell and there's nothing quite like the grief that

the people of Haiti have suffered through ever since 1804 when it became the first free black republic in the world, the first

independent state in the Caribbean and the second independent state in the Western hemisphere

after the United States.

That grief continues to this very day. Since the 2021 assassination of

Haiti's President Jovenel Moise, there has been much speculation about a bigger conspiracy to overthrow his government, a plan

that the FBI apparently knew about according to documents related to the case.

There also seems to be a Miami-based security firm involved.

The DEA was apparently knowledgeable of the coup as well.

Coo plotters have been arrested and they await trial,

which will happen sometime next year, three years after the assassination.

But why does the US have so much interest in Haiti?

Why has it had so much interest in Haiti? An impoverished country that seems in the midst of

perpetual violence and climate catastrophe. And what's the likelihood that yet again the U.S.
