| 0:00.0 | Hey, it's the Tudor Dixon podcast, and I am so excited about today because I have Chris Tomlin |
| 0:06.4 | with me. And if you don't know, he's amazing all the way around. He's a Christian artist. He's |
| 0:11.3 | the executive producer of a new film. But also what he doesn't know is that he was on my |
| 0:18.3 | playlist for my birthing playlist, which is kind of personal. But when I was with |
| 0:25.1 | it, when I was pregnant with my first daughter, you know, when you are pregnant with your first |
| 0:28.7 | kid, they're like, you're going to go through and you, you're going to have this like birth plan |
| 0:32.7 | and you think everything's going to go really well because you've planned it all out. Well, |
| 0:36.9 | how great is our |
| 0:37.7 | God was on there? And honestly, I don't know what I would have done without you because certainly |
| 0:42.6 | it wasn't what I expected. So Chris Tomlin, welcome to the podcast. Well, that's quite an honor. |
| 0:47.9 | Wow. Thank you so much. I've been introduced in many ways, but never like that. So that's the best |
| 0:53.2 | ever. So thank you. Well, actually, |
| 0:55.9 | I told my oldest daughter, I was like, so guess who I'm going to have on the podcast? And I said, |
| 1:01.2 | and when I went into labor with you, this was on my playlist that day that we listened to as we |
| 1:07.8 | were welcoming you into the world. So that was pretty cool. That's really special. Thank you. It is. So this is very special for me. And I heard, |
| 1:16.0 | I was like, wait a minute. He has this film coming out. I thought music was his thing. |
| 1:21.5 | You send us a screener of the film. Awesome. I mean, awesome. I can't wait until it's in theaters because it is, just like the |
| 1:33.0 | Bible, it is so relevant to right now. It is. You know, how I got involved in this is crazy, |
| 1:40.3 | right? Because this is not my lane. Movies aren't my lane, but what a privilege that I was |
| 1:44.5 | approached with, from these guys about music. Hey, do you have a song that you could put on the end of |
| 1:49.4 | this film that we could use or that could work? And I said, I said, yeah, I think so. I got some |
| 1:55.4 | songs. And so we're talking about, let's see the film. And just like you, I watched it. And immediately, I was like, wow, this is so beautiful, so powerful, so well done. And it's so, like, grounded, so biblically, like grounded and right on the, right just powerfully accurate. And I was like, and I'd love to be a part of this. How can we, how can we just really connect and lock arms and do something great with this? People need to see this. |
