0:43.9

Benne Bell Wen the author of holistic tarot and the Dow of Craft. Hello Benne Bell.

Hi Teresa. I am so excited to talk about this topic because I've been watching you creating a

0:56.3

deck and so I am super nosy about this. That's wonderful I'm super happy to talk about it. Well I want to know first of all what I mean what

1:07.2

inspired you to create the deck so we just have an idea what drove you to do this?

1:12.0

I think I've always had it in my head from you know from

1:16.1

the get-go you know that I wanted to create a terror deck I didn't have the

1:19.7

confidence I didn't think I had anything to add to you know the tens upon thousands of

1:24.6

decks that were already out there and then when I thought you know what I'm just going to create it for

1:28.6

myself it's not for anybody else that kind of gave me sort of the jump to get into it.

1:34.0

And then after I finished it, I just thought, you know, this is, I had something to say, I said

1:38.6

it, and so I decided to publish it.

1:40.9

So can you tell me a bit about the process from going from an idea to actually turning it into a deck?

1:48.0

I think this is my opinion only. I think it depends whether you're a seasoned terror reader or you're just interested in turning

1:58.8

your art into a terror act, you know what I'm saying?

2:01.3

Because I think when you're an experienced tarot reader, I think in your mind you've always, I mean you probably have a tarot drag in some form constructed in your head, you know what I'm saying? And it's just a matter of like manifesting it. So because I am a tarot reader and I read professionally I've always sort of had well I kind of think the fool should look like this or I think the chariot should look like that and and so it just became a matter of

2:22.6

hunkering down and getting it down onto paper as an experience reader I think if

2:27.3

you're not an experience reader there's probably a lot more brainstorming going

2:30.1

on right and that makes total sense.
