Good morning. Welcome back to another recording here of Tack Room Bible Talk. And I'm willing to do just a real simple, just a real simple explanation from Scripture of baptism and the part the book baptism plays for the Christian today.

There's a lot of misunderstanding and there's a lot of confusion about this subject.

And it's not a confusing subject.

It's not difficult.

Okay.

Now we need to understand that there are a number of different baptisms talked about in scripture.

And but we're talking about baptism as relates to salvation here in the age of grace in the New Testament age.

We're not talking about John the Baptist baptism. We're not

talking about baptism of the Holy Spirit. We're not talking about baptism in the Old Testament. We're

just, we're talking about baptism today. Okay. Now baptism today is and as far as I know it has been

all along,

but baptism is full immersion.

Let's get that clear, okay?

It's full immersion and it's under the water,

then all the way back up out of the water.

And we'll discuss that here shortly as well,

but it's not taking something and sprinkling you with water.

That doesn't even define as baptism.

Baptism is immersion.

So for the Christian today, for someone who is not yet a Christian today,

the confusion of baptism.
