At the White House on Monday, President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled a 21-point plan for peace in Gaza,

including details on Hamas's release of hostages, Israeli release of prisoners, a transitional

government, an Arab stabilization force, pledges to rebuild, a vague line about an eventual

possible pathway to statehood, and much more. Let's listen first to Prime Minister Deniou

explaining why he supports this proposal. I support your plan to end the war in Gaza, which achieves our war aims.

It will bring back to Israel all our hostages, dismantle Hamas's military capabilities, end its political rule, and ensure that Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel.

President Trump on Tuesday said he would give Hamas three or four days to respond to this plan.

Elliot, what's your read of this 21-point proposal? What's in it?

And is Netanyahu right there that the bottom

line is still that Hamas has to release the hostages, disarm, and will no longer be in

control of Gaza? Yes, those are the three keys, meaning the war doesn't end until those happen.

So the most important term of the deal is that Hamas would have to release all Israeli hostages.

Twenty of them living, believed to be living, 28 more believed to be dead.

Hamas would have to release them all within 72 hours of agreeing to the deal.
