And in this episode, we are going to talk about education and what the Trump administration's

agenda and the larger GOP effort to change our educational system is all about.

We talk a little bit about what Democrats are up to on these issues too.

But one thing I could say for sure

is that we give more airtime to kids' issues in this podcast than probably the collective

national candidate pool did throughout the entirety of the past election cycle. And I speak to

two people who are either libertarian or right-leaning

thinkers on this podcast. One is Andrew Clark from Yes Every Kid, which is an organization that's

part of the Koch network that, among other things, is supportive of vouchers, education

savings accounts, and open enrollment policies. We talk about local issues,

state and local education issues and trends around the country there. And then I talked to Rick Hess

at the American Enterprise Institute about mostly national issues and what the Trump administration

will be doing or plans to do, it could potentially do on education policy, both at the

K-12 level and higher education. Now, I know a lot of you've been sending me messages about

the Biden pardon, Trump administration picks, et cetera. We will tackle some of these issues later

this week. I'll have more to say on them there. And I do talk to Andrew a little bit about

some of these issues, but I'll give you my fully formed thoughts on those issues probably later in
